Denominations: The Independent Catholic Church of America

The Independent Catholic Church of America is one of many independent, sacramental churches. It is a part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church -- One, because we [Christians] are all one Body, under one Head, our Lord Jesus Christ; Holy, because the Holy Spirit dwells in the Church, consecrates its members, and guides them to do God's work; Catholic, people, to the end of time; and Apostolic, because the Church continues the teaching and fellowship of the Apostles, and is sent to carry the message and mission of Christ to all people. Our particular tradition derives mainly from the Old Catholic Church of Utrecht, which derived in turn from the Roman Catholic Church.
