                        ARCHBISHOP SUES ARAPAHOE JAIL

  ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS STAFF
  Archbishop Stephen Robert Thomas of the Mercian Orthodox Catholic Church
  sued the Arapahoe County Jail in District Court, claiming he received
  improper care for a life-threatening medical condition while
  incarcerated on a theft charge last spring.

  Thomas was director of Notre Dame de Lafayette University, which
  authorities said improperly issued mail-order degrees.
